Going Candid: Learn to see, Have a plan

We were asked tot read the 'Learn to see' and 'Have a plan' parts of the Going Candid book. I though the 'Learn to see' part was very interesting.. Most people go outside and start taking pictures of whatever and then choose the best of them to post. But as I've learned right now, it should be a better idea to first go outside and start looking.. Just looking. Because looking for the possibilities is a far better practise than just shooting anything.  The 'Have a plan' taught me to make a list or to at least to have a specific idea of what you're going to shoot that day, to not just start randomly shooting objects. I think that is very true, because then you will pay more attention to these things and better pictures will come out of it.

Perspective

Going Candid, Intro & Equipement

So I read the intro and Equipement part of 'Going Candid' about street photography and found it really interesting because I didn't know what street photography was and I always thought you'd need a big and expensive camera to take nice shots but really, the only thing you need is a camera that takes the shot quickly so you can capture the moment you wanted. It is true though if you think about that so it was really useful to read ;)

Hi my name's Phedra. I'm turning 18 this year in America because I'm an exchange student from Belgium and I'm staying with a lovely host family in Clovis, California. I like drawing, playing around with photoshop, photography, playing volleybal, going to the movies, going swimming and going shopping. Also, I adore Starbucks! And that's about it.
